UAS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / CREW CHIEF (OCONUS)

General: AUV Flight Services maintains a database of qualified personnel for rolling openings for our customers. This position will support customer Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flight operations by performing duties as a maintainer/technician. The selected individuals will undergo specific platform training and then travel to OCONUS location in support of customer requirements.
Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician/Crew Chief primary role is the overall maintenance and repair of the aircraft. Selected candidates will perform tasks to include but not limited to: daily, preflight, and postflight inspections, maintenance checks, aircraft repair and modifications, and safe launch/recovery operations of the aircraft. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and mechanical assemblies including wire harnesses, circuit boards, servos, and engines, as well as composite repair as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to pass a background check
- 5 + years of UAS maintenance experience
- Ability to perform line and site level maintenance and repair actions
- Experience with reading electrical diagrams fault isolation, and electrical troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Piccolo Autopilot experience
- A&P or other licenses/certifications
- Previous deployment experience
- Multiple UAS platform experience
